About the roTravel24 travel portal for Romania | Work in progress 😊
We are working daily to improve our offering and expand our information in the “Best of” section, as well as our travel offers, experiences, and much more. Currently, you can find more than 400 travel destinations in Romania in the “Best of” section. By the end of the year, we will expand this to 800 destinations week by week, and then to a total of 2,000 in 2026. We are also currently working on the new “My Travel Plan / Bucket List” feature. This will allow you to add any travel destinations, as well as hotels, wineries, restaurants, and more to your personal travel plan. You will be able to edit this travel plan, save it, share it with friends, and much more! Work on this is ongoing, and month by month, roTravel24 is offering more and more features.

:: It’s really easy | Quick guide in three (3) steps
(1) Browse the “Best of” section and the map on roTravel24. Also check out the entries under “Wine regions / Wineries” and “Parks | Zoos | Gardens” (accessible via the map and the “Experiences” menu) can also be added.
(2) To add a destination to your itinerary… simply click on the “+” button. Nothing will happen, you won’t see anything, but the destination will be added.
(3) To view your itinerary, simply select “My Travel Plan” > “View my Travel Plan” from the menu.
:: Add a destination
It’s easy: browse our website and when you find a destination, place, location, or even a hotel/restaurant that you like, simply click on the “+” sign. What happens? Nothing. But no, clicking on “+” adds this place to your itinerary.
:: Add an experience, hotel, restaurant
In the same way (using the “+” function) as shown above, you can also add hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, and much more to your itinerary. Please note that the destinations you select here will be displayed separately from your travel destinations at the end of the overview.
:: View your own Travel Plan
To view the itinerary you have created, select “My Travel Plan” > “View My Travel Plan” in the menu above. You can also access your itinerary directly above the map by clicking on “My itinerary.” The info button to the right of this text will take you back to this explanation.
:: Edit your own itinerary
Your itinerary always opens in a new tab in your browser. Here you can see all the destinations, experiences, hotels, restaurants, and much more that you have selected, along with a wide range of information that we are constantly expanding.
1 Show selected accommodations, restaurants, cafes
2 Delete your entire travel plan
3 The “Nearby” feature shows linked hotels, restaurants, and more in the surrounding area
4 The “More information” feature provides further information about this location
5 Move the entry up or down in the list

:: Advanced functions: Geo coordinates, saving and deleting
Function (7) also allows you to view this destination directly on Google Maps / Google Route.
This allows you to transfer your travel plan to your mobile phone and use it for navigation during your trip.

7 Location symbol: You will be taken directly to Google Maps / Google Route with the corresponding geo coordinates.
With functions (8) and (9), you can save your itinerary and transfer it to another device or browser. You can also send your itinerary to friends or acquaintances. Simply save the file and send it via email or WhatsApp. The recipient can then easily reload/import the file using the icon (9).

Cooperation with Holidays in Romania / Urlaub in Rumänien and other portals
roTravel24 is increasingly working with external partners, primarily with “Urlaub in Rumänien” (https://urlaub-in-rumänien.de), but also with Discover Timisoara (https://discover-timisoara.com), Discover Brasov (https://discover-brasov.com) , Discover Sulina (https://discover-sulina.com) and Discover Valcea (https://discover-valcea.com). There, too, you will find the “+” button for many destinations and activities/experiences, and with just one click, these destinations will be added directly to your itinerary on roTravel24 from these websites.
