Day 1. Transfer to the raft-building site – Raft building
In the morning, we’ll take a minibus from Sibiu to Augustin (approx. 3 hours).
Around noon, we’ll arrive at the raft-building site, where our rafting team will welcome us with a “hearty picnic”—because we’ll need plenty of “rafting strength” over the next few days…
The building materials are stored at the construction site on the Alt River, not far from the village. Under the guidance of the four rafters, we’ll build the raft together. There will be plenty of time for leisure, such as a swim in the river.
Meanwhile, a hearty dinner will be prepared over the campfire.
